Tater Talk!

"My potato is growing some little potatoes," said Emma Grace.

"My potato has a square arm inside," said Joshua.

"My potato has a lot of sprouts," said Seth.

"My potato has a teeny tiny sprout", said Jeremiah.

"My potato has lots of squares," said Jacob.

"My potato has some sprouts," said Aubrey.

"My potato is growing sprouts," said Destiny.

"My potato is growing faster," said Anitta.

"My potato is growing roots," said Jonathon.

"My potato can grow a baby," said Yarely.

"My potato is growing little sprouts and they're starting to get long," said Andrew.

"My potato is growing sprouts and growing fast," said Alex.

Day 14: Celery

"The leaves are turning blue!" said Yarely.

"The celery does not look good," said Seth.  "We put celery in the vase with blue water and now it is blue!" said Destiny.  

 

 

 

 

Day 10

"There is blue stuff on the leaves of the celery," said Destiny.  Jonathon thinks the whole thing will turn blue!

"Some of the eggs are growing really, really fast," said Andrew.  "My egg has  a leaf growing big," said Aubrey.

" This plant is growing very big because it has water, light and air," said Emma Grace.

"It looks dry," said Felix.  "It has not had enough water.  I think it died"

"It has not had any sunlight.  I don't think it will live," said S.

"It has had too much water, said Alex and Ana.

Day 12

This is Seth's seed.  "My seed has a big root," said Seth.

This is Anitta's seed.  "My seed is green," said Anitta.  It has a leaf!

"Mrs. Trucks' seed has a lot of roots hanging off of it and it is bigger," said Hunter.

This is Marlen's seed.  "My seed is dirty," said Marlen.  It is rotting.

Day 9, April 22nd

"The bottom of the celery is blue," said Jacob.

  "The leaves are blue too," said Hunter.

"The bean is growing a root," said Destiny.  "It is bigger than at first," said Shyanne.

"We are growing some little green stuff," said Marlen.  "When we put the seeds in it started to grow," said Andrew.

This plant has had water, sunlight and air.  "It looks healthy," said Jeremiah.

No light or water.  "It sort of looks healthy," said Seth.  "The dirt looks disgusting," said Felix.

No water, plenty of sunlight and air.  "It is not growing," said Joshua.

No light, little air, plenty of water.  "It didn't have light," said Adam.

Day 4, April 18th

The plants with no light and little air look wilted.
The plant in the window that has not been watered has also wilted.

There is condensation on the inside of the seed bags that are hanging in the windows.

Day 1, April 14th

PLANTINGS
Today we planted our chive seeds in our egg shells, covered them with dirt, placed them in sunlight  and watered them.

SEED JOURNAL
We placed a lima bean in a damp paper towel, sealed it in a Ziploc and hung them in our windows.
